Shipping
Policy
The Wind Chime Company ships its products via DHL from
Franklin CT. In stock orders received
between Monday and Friday will be shipped within 3 business days (or less).
Orders received during the weekend cannot be processed and prepared for
shipping until the following Monday. You will be notified via email once your
order has been shipped and credit card charged.

Ground (sorry, no P.O. Boxes). Shipping prices are based upon the number of

RETURNS &
EXCHANGES
Return Policy
| 90 Day
Return Policy: If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you
can return the unused item in original condition and original packaging,
within 90 days of shipping for a full refund, less shipping costs. If
the item was shipped to you at no charge the actual shipping costs for items
will be deducted from the refund. Note: Only items that are unused
and in original condition can be returned – no exceptions. |
How to Return an Item
TO INSURE A PROMPT REFUND
– FOLLOW ALL STEPS BELOW:
1. Obtain
An RMA Number -
Please call
860-642-7790 and speak to a customer service representative to obtain a Return
Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This RMA number must be written
on correspondence with the return such as the original packing slip. If you
cannot locate your packing slip, please include a note with the billing name and
address and the RMA number
2. Pack
Your Return
- Wrap your item carefully in a box, and in its original packaging and enclose
correspondence, which references the RMA number (as indicated above), with your
return.
3. Ship
Your Return
– Ship your return using the shipping carrier of your choice. Please note,
return shipping is at the customer’s expense. We recommend that you insure
your return, as we cannot be responsible for lost, damaged or misdirected
returns.

4. Receive
Your Refund
- If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit will be issued within 15
business days of the receipt of your return and will appear on your billing
statement as Yankee Retail. If you paid by check, a refund check will be mailed
to you.
If the item was shipped to you at no charge the actual shipping
costs for items will be deducted from the refund.
Damaged Item
We want you to
enjoy your purchase when it arrives and therefore make every effort to ship
items securely. In the event that you receive a damaged item, please call us
within seven days of receipt – (860) 642-7790. Our customer service
representatives will make arrangements to have the damaged item/part picked up
and a new item or part in the same style and color, shipped to you.
Please note: If you choose not to receive a replacement, we will make
arrangements to have the damaged item picked up and your refund will be issued
less original shipping costs. If the item was shipped to you at no charge the
actual shipping costs for items will be deducted from the refund.
Note: ALL DAMAGE CLAIMS MUST BE
MADE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF THE ORDER

The Wind Chime Company gladly accepts personal checks, money
orders, MasterCard and Visa. Phone and online orders
are limited to major credit cards. Sorry, we cannot accept C.O.D. orders.

Placing Multiple Orders
If you wish to send multiple wind chimes to a single address,
simply select the correct quantity when placing your online order.
Unfortunately if you wish to send multiple wind chimes to multiple
addresses, you will need to place a new online order for each address that
you are shipping to. In order to make this process easier for you, we
recommend that you contact us directly via phone at 860-642-7790 and one
of our customer service representatives will be happy to input this order
information for
you.
MISCELLANEOUS
Gift Wrapping
The Wind Chime Company will gift wrap your gift for an additional
charge of $3.99, simply select this option during the online order process.

Gift Certificates
Can't decide which wind chime would make the best gift, then gift certificates
make the ideal gifts. The Wind Chime Company gift certificates are
available in denominations of $10, $25, $50, $75 and $100, and are shipped free
of charge to the lucky recipient. Running out of time, we can email or overnight
ship a gift certificate for you, just call one of our gift specialists at
860-642-7790 for more information about this option.
Gift Certificate Terms

date of issue.

Caring
For Your Wind Chime
By following these simple step to care for your wind chime, you can
enjoy its beautiful sound for many years to come. Every part of your wind
chime is weather protected. Over time, however, those layers of protection
can begin to wear.
Protecting the wooden components of
your wind chime - We suggest that periodically apply a thin coat
of Danish or lemon oil with a clean cloth or brush to the hardwood parts
of your wind chime. Regular oiling will help protect the wood and retard
the natural aging process.
Protecting the brass components of your wind chime - If your wind
chime contains brass bells, these brass components can be polished with a
brass cleaner.
Protecting the aluminum components of
your wind chime - If your wind chime contains aluminum tubes, these
aluminum components may be washed with soap and warm water.
